History
Located in historic Mullica Hill, Free To Be Me Preschool was founded by Patricia Reed-Perry in 1975 to provide early childhood education programs and worry-free care for children living in Harrison Township and the surrounding areas. Celebrating more than 30 years of quality service, Free To Be Me was again voted "Best Preschool in Gloucester County."

Meet a Few of Our Staff
Patricia Reed Perry, Founder and President
Pat established Free To Be Me in 1975 to provide local children and their parents with an affordable, quality pre-school and daycare option. Her focus was and continues to be one dedicated to offering children a warm and caring environment that fosters learning and creativity. An avid philanthropist, Pat supports numerous local and regional children's charities, and volunteers her time to church and civic activities in the greater Harrison Township community. Pat holds a Master's in Education from Widener University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University).

Ann Datz, Executive Director and Teacher
As Executive Director, Ann works directly with Pat to oversee all aspects of the school, including curriculum development, state certifications, skills' testing and parent/teacher conference oversight. During the school year, Ann joins other staff members in teaching the Three Year Old's morning preschool program. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Glassboro State College.
